A Dinner Party With Strangers & New Friends In DC
A 3-course Japanese izakaya dinner from a chef who trained under Morimoto and appeared on Iron Chef. A buzzy, high-energy space inspired by Japan's late-night food culture. A room full of interesting people you haven't met yet, and seat rotations that guarantee you will.
This is The Dinner Table Club: a dinner party with strangers that somehow feels like dinner with friends by the end of the night.

How It Works
You'll arrive at Love, Makoto on Massachusetts Avenue and meet the group over a complimentary glass of wine. Once everyone's settled in, we'll sit down for a 3-course family-style Japanese dinner, with two seat rotations between courses so you meet everyone at the table. Our host facilitates the evening with light conversation prompts and seat rotations. By dessert, you'll have exchanged numbers with people you'll actually want to see again.
