Ask your AI assistant for a dinner

Connect The Dinner Table Club to ChatGPT, Claude or any AI assistant that supports MCP, then ask it to find dinner parties for strangers by city and date.

Updated October 2026

What does The Dinner Table Club connector do?

The Dinner Table Club connector lets an AI assistant look up upcoming dinners in New York, DC, Los Angeles and Miami by city and date. For each dinner it returns the restaurant, neighborhood, local date and time, price per person with dinner included, whether seats are left, and a link to the event page. It can also pull up one dinner's menu and answer common questions, like coming solo or dietary needs. It is free, read-only and needs no sign-in.

What can I ask?

For developers

The connector is a Model Context Protocol server using the Streamable HTTP transport, stateless, with no authentication. It exposes three read-only tools: find_dinners (optional city, start_date, end_date,include_sold_out, limit), get_dinner_details (dinner_id) andlist_cities. It is listed in the official MCP Registry as club.thedinnertable/dinners. The same data is available asJSON and as a calendar feed. Questions: hello@thedinnertable.club.

Connector questions

Does the connector see my chats or personal information?

No. The Dinner Table Club connector only receives what the assistant sends to look up dinners: a city, dates, a dinner ID and how many results to show. It needs no sign-in, receives nothing that identifies you, and cannot buy tickets or change anything. The privacy policy explains what is logged.

Can the assistant book a seat for me?

Not yet. The assistant shows you dinners and links to each event page, where you buy a ticket yourself. Seats are only held once you check out on the event page.

Is there a cost?

The connector is free. You pay only for any dinner ticket you choose to buy. Some assistants require a paid plan to add custom connectors.
