About this dinner

A Dinner Party Where Strangers Become Friends

Join us for our second dinner party at Amara at Paraiso; a stunning waterfront restaurant on Biscayne Bay from James Beard Award-winning chef Michael Schwartz. An evening of bold Latin-inspired cuisine, creative cocktails, sweeping bay views, and the kind of connection that happens when strangers share a table.

You arrive solo (or with a friend), and we welcome you with a glass of wine and a chance to meet the group. Then we sit down for a 3-course family-style dinner. Between courses, we rotate seats between, so you're never stuck in one conversation and you actually get to meet everyone at the table. No awkward networking, no forced small talk; just good food and good people. By dessert, you'll have exchanged numbers with people you'll actually want to see again.

"Far and away, the best group of people I've ever experienced. Welcoming and warm.", MIA Guest

About the Restaurant

Amara at Paraiso is, in its own words, "a love letter to Miami." Set on the edge of Biscayne Bay, the restaurant brings together bold Latin American flavors, coastal ingredients, and South Florida's rich diversity of food culture to create the quintessential Miami waterfront dining experience, from the environment to the cuisine to the vibe. It's the creation of James Beard Award-winning chef Michael Schwartz and The Genuine Hospitality Group, and everything about it is designed around the water: open-air seating, palm trees, string lights, and one of the best bay views in the city. Three-Course Dinner Served Family-Style

Dinner service includes a family-style 3-course meal for each guest.

What is the difference between General Admission tickets and Men & Women tickets? We've created gendered tickets to ensure a relatively even distribution of guests at our events. Any ticket purchase gets the same experience, there's no difference.

What is the general age range of your events? We encourage guests from all ages and backgrounds to attend our events. Our programming is tailored to anyone looking to meet others.

Generally, we've seen the age range of our events to be between 25-40 years old. That's not to say anyone outside of that range can't attend!

Can I come alone?Yes, we encourage it! Our goal at The Dinner Table is to create meaningful connections through cuisine and art. Many of our guests leave with new friends at the end of the evening.

What is your refund policy? We understand sometimes things come up, and that's why we offer a full credit to your next event if you cancel ten days before the event

Questions

Can I come alone?

Yes, and most people do. Every dinner is built for meeting new people, and your host makes sure everyone's included from the moment you check in.

What's the age range?

Everyone is welcome. Most of our guests are between 25 and 40, but that's a pattern, not a rule.

What's included in the ticket?

A multi-course meal, a welcome drink at most events, and a host who runs the night.

What if a dinner is sold out?

Join the list. We add new dates regularly, subscribers hear first, and seats sometimes open up from cancellations.
