Join us for our first dinner party at Medium Rare in Cleveland Park; a DC institution that's been doing one thing and doing it perfectly since 2011. An evening of their award-winning culotte steak and hand-cut fries with secret sauce, great company, and the kind of connection that happens when strangers share a table in one of DC's most beloved neighborhood bistros.

"Loved the location; good group of people. The conversations were interesting. The food and service was impeccable.", DC Guest

About the Venue

Medium Rare has been a DC institution since 2011, a neighborhood bistro in Cleveland Park built on a concept so simple it's almost radical: one dish, done perfectly, every single time. The award-winning culotte steak. The hand-cut fries. The secret sauce. Artisan bread. A Parisian-bistro room with paper tablecloths and warm, cozy energy. It's won the Diner's Choice Award 12 years in a row and earned a Tripadvisor Travelers' Choice, and it's expanded to eight locations without ever adding a second entrée to the menu.

This is our first time hosting at Medium Rare, and honestly, the philosophy feels a lot like ours. Agenda

Your host checks you in and introduces you around. Dinner is usually three courses served family style, and guests switch seats between courses so you meet most of the table. Read how it works for the full night.

Questions

Can I come alone?

Yes, and most people do. Every dinner is built for meeting new people, and your host makes sure everyone's included from the moment you check in.

What's the age range?

Everyone is welcome. Most of our guests are between 25 and 40, but that's a pattern, not a rule.

What's included in the ticket?

A multi-course meal, a welcome drink at most events, and a host who runs the night.

What if a dinner is sold out?

Join the list. We add new dates regularly, subscribers hear first, and seats sometimes open up from cancellations.
