About this dinner

A Dinner Party With Strangers In Flatiron At Grandma's Home

Join us in the heart of Flatiron for a dinner party experience at Grandma’s Home, a modern & homey retreat inspired by authentic Hangzhou flavors.

This evening incorporates social dining, cozy ambiance, and new friendships over carefully curated regional Chinese dishes, all within the stunning interiors and nostalgic warmth of Grandma’s Home.

This dinner party experience blends Grandma’s Home’s beautifully presented regional Chinese dishes with our signature Dinner Table format: small-group seating, guided conversations, and intentional seat rotations that help you connect deeply with new people throughout the evening.

What's the difference between General Admission tickets and Men & Women tickets?Any ticket purchase gets the same experience, there is no difference.

We've created gendered tickets to ensure a relatively even distribution of guests at our events. GA is open to anyone.

Can I come alone?Yes, we encourage it! Our goal at The Dinner Table is to create meaningful connections through cuisine and art. Many of our guests leave with new friends at the end of the event.

What is your refund policy? We understand sometimes things come up, and that's why we offer a full credit to your next event if you cancel ten days before the event

Questions

Can I come alone?

Yes, and most people do. Every dinner is built for meeting new people, and your host makes sure everyone's included from the moment you check in.

What's the age range?

Everyone is welcome. Most of our guests are between 25 and 40, but that's a pattern, not a rule.

What's included in the ticket?

A multi-course meal, a welcome drink at most events, and a host who runs the night.

What if a dinner is sold out?

Join the list. We add new dates regularly, subscribers hear first, and seats sometimes open up from cancellations.
