Step inside the Velvet Lounge at The Culver Hotel and slip back to a Prohibition-era evening of cocktails, stories, and connection. We’re partnering with this landmark 1924 hotel—famed for its Art Deco glamour and Hollywood lore—for a one-night Cocktail Mixer designed to turn casual sips into memorable conversations.
What to Expect
- Guided cocktail experience: learn (and enjoy) a classic Gin Martini, Tom Collins, or Old Fashioned, complete with live bartender demo
- Mingle & move through the lounge’s velvet banquettes and vintage bar carts with light conversation prompts in hand
- Custom Fans: Next to the Gin & Tonic bar, guests can stop by the fan customization station. They’ll be able to write down what they’d like engraved, and their personalized fan will be ready for pickup later in the event.
- Ticket includes: One welcome drink, curated bites, and one handcrafted cocktail with a live demonstration.
- Dress code: Cocktail chic recommended

Cocktail Breakdown
- Drink #1: Welcome Drink
- Upon entry, guests will be invited to create their own Hendrick’s Gin & Tonic at a small bar provided by the Culver Hotel.
- Gin options: Hendrick’s Original, Oasium, and Grand Cabaret.
- Tonic options: A curated variety of premium tonics
- Garnishes: A mix of fresh and floral garnishes
Each guest will receive a Hendrick’s silver mug to use and take home as a keepsake.
- Drink #2: Cocktail Mixing Experience
- We’ll utilize the martini cart at the Culver Hotel for a table-side cocktail experience, where guests can choose between an Aviation or an Old Fashioned.

- What is the difference between General Admission tickets and Men & Women tickets?
- We've created gendered tickets to ensure a relatively even distribution of guests at our events. Any ticket purchase gets the same experience, there's no difference.
- What is the general age range of your events?
- We encourage guests from all ages and backgrounds to attend our events. Our programming is tailored to anyone looking to meet others.
- Generally, we've seen the age range of our events to be between 25-40 years old. That's not to say anyone outside of that range can't attend!
- Can I come alone?
- Yes, we encourage it! Our goal at The Dinner Table is to create meaningful connections through cuisine and art. Many of our guests leave with new friends at the end of the evening.
- What is your refund policy?
- We understand sometimes things come up, and that's why we offer a full credit to your next event if you cancel ten days before the event.
