​~ A Cocktail Mixer at BALEENkitchen in Redondo Beach ~

​The Dinner Table has partnered with BALEENkitchen to host a Cocktail Mixer in the venue's lounge area. More on that below!

​BALEENkitchen — which completed an interior design and menu relaunch in May 2025 — is the resplendent marina-front restaurant onsite at The Portofino Hotel & Marina. The restaurant features a playful seafood-focused gastropub style menu anchored by the saying: “Eat local, drink coastal.”

​The venue is one of Redondo Beach’s most scenic settings for marina-front dining, while over on the bar side, locals and visitors spend evenings grooving to regular live music by beloved local bands.

​Ticket purchases include three cocktails, light hors d'oeuvres, an opportunity to mingle throughout the BALEENkitchen venue with other Dinner Table community members.

1. ​What is the general age range of your events?
   • ​We encourage guests from all ages and backgrounds to attend our events. Our programming is tailored to anyone looking to meet others.
   • ​Generally, we've seen the age range of our events to be between 25-40 years old. That's not to say anyone outside of that range can't attend!
2. ​Can I come alone?
   • ​​​Yes, we encourage it! Our goal at The Dinner Table is to create meaningful connections through cuisine and art. Many of our guests leave with new friends at the end of the evening.
3. ​​​What is your refund policy?
   • ​​​We understand sometimes things come up, and that's why we offer a full credit to your next event if you cancel 10 days before the event.
